After appearing in the campaign for the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 capsule and being the first person to wear two of the sneakers in public, Spike Lee is getting a black denim sneaker to call his own.
The Jordan Spiz’ike Low Black Denim sees Lee’s Jordan model take on the material throughout its upper. White contrast stitching then appears throughout, while the same color is used for the tongue and midsole. The TPU eyestays, wings and nets continue the black theme, while the outsole is rendered in gum and both Jumpman logos and Lee’s heel logos appear in red.
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the Spiz’ike, which is a mash-up of the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 20 — the campaigns for which Lee stared in all of. It’s one of the more successful of all the Air Jordan hybrids and was designed by the most well-known designer in the franchise, Tinker Hatfield. The low-top iteration employed here first arose in 2023.
Lee gave the public debuts for both the black and navy variants of the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3, the latter of which he wore at the 2025 FN Achievement Awards in December. He was then spotted once again in the black pair in campaign images along with the same navy denim hat he wore at the award show and a black varsity jacket from the collaboration.
Outside of Levi’s collaborations, of which there have been three with Nike or Jordan Brand in the last year, denim is also picking up steam on in-line Swoosh product through forthcoming releases including the Book 2 paying tribute to the 1996 University of Kentucky men’s basketball team and a pink Air Jordan 4 exclusive to women.
The Jordan Spiz’ike Low Black Denim will release March 20 through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $175.
