It turns out the upcoming “Santa” Air Jordan 3 won’t be the only one of Michael Jordan’s classic sneakers to receive a holiday-themed release this year.
Also set to arrive in the last quarter of 2026 is a new Air Jordan 12 Retro with an “Eggnog” theme. Although in-hand images have yet to surface, the mock-up pictured here is said to accurately represent the color blocking of the upcoming style.
Boasting a Light Orewood Brown/Cacao Wow/Team Red colorway, the new colorway of Jordan’s twelfth signature sneaker sports a light tan upper with brown accents on its TPU Jumpman badge and metallic upper eyelets. The shoe’s signature mudguard, which is traditionally given a reptile texture, is speckled for a cinnamon-esque effect. Branding, including the tongue and toe Jumpman logos and the tongue’s “two 3” text, are rendered in brown. The pair is also expected to feature a dash of red, which could appear on the insole or outsole.
If this holiday beverage-themed look feels familiar, it may be because Jordan Brand used a similar theme on a 2022 friends-and-family exclusive version of the Air Jordan 8 dubbed “Eight Nog.” The unreleased style was designed by former Jordan Brand promo designer Kelsey Amy.
A speculative mock-up of what the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Eggnog” is expected to look like.
This eggnog celebration won’t be reserved for adults only, as the style is expected to be released in full-family sizing when it arrives at retail in October.
While not as frequently seen in recent years as other Jordan models, the Air Jordan 12 remains an important — and popular — part of the brand’s retro business. It’s expected to arrive this May in a black-and-red “Bloodline” makeup along with a Milwaukee Bucks-themed “Idols Become Rivals” colorway in September.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Eggnog is currently scheduled to be released on Oct. 17 for a retail price of $205 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers. The sneaker’s style code is CT8013-105.
