Priyanka Chopra Jonas indulged in the method dressing trend with her Epuzer dress on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City on Thursday night to promote her new film “The Bluff.”
The actress wore a lace maxidress in black. The formfitting look created a mermaid-like silhouette, ideal for Chopra Jonas’ buccaneer-themed wardrobe throughout her “The Bluff” press tour. Sheer fabric and ruffled lines gave the look an extra ounce of sensual styling.

The dress also featured a train that Chopra Jonas carried in one hand behind her upon her entrance. Glam continued Chopra Jonas’ method dressing moments, with braided strands and a black-to-red coloring that created dimension and tension.
Chopra Jonas added a few sparse jewelry pieces and completed the look with black heels. As for glam, the actress’ makeup included such highlights as bold brows, lined eyes and a neutral lip for a pared back approach that kept her sartorial statement the centerpiece of her ensemble.
Method dressing is a fresh tact Chopra Jonas is taking for her “The Bluff” press tour, so much so that the actress incorporated a costume piece she wore from the film into her Los Angeles premiere look. The actress wore costume designer ‘s cuirass from the film, which she paired with a custom draped skirt by Who Decides War for the event on Feb. 17.

The cuirass, a piece of armor consisting of a breastplate and backplate, “was hand-built, wet-molded over a scanned bust, then aged with battle scars and sea-worn history,” a post from Messam’s Instagram read. Meg Ashforth and Lolly Ruby Redpath curated the leather work on the piece, while Billy Heinemann and Olivia Balle added the art finishing for the cuirass. Madeline Turner provided assistance.
“The Bluff” follows one woman whose past is revealed after vicious buccaneers invade her home. The film is now available to stream on Prime Video.
