Recently, Monalisa and her husband, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, appeared on the show, The 50. During their stint on the show, fans of the actress noticed their conflicts. However, it created a negative impact outside the show. Reacting to the ongoing divorce buzz, in a recent interview with Free Press Journal, Monalisa said that it was quite normal to have conflicts between a couple. But it doesn’t mean that it would lead to divorce. She mentioned that just like any other couple, they also have misunderstandings and arguments, but they have made it a rule to solve them by talking things out. She also reacted to people calling her husband ‘toxic’. She was quoted as saying:
“Hame pata tha hamare beech conflicts honge. Conflict honge lekin iska matlab ye nahi ki hamare darwaaze par divorce hai. Ye hamari understanding hai. Mujhe pata hai ki wo mujhe samjhane ki koshish kar raha hai.”

In a recent interview with IANS, Monalisa opened up about trying for parenthood with her husband, Vikrant. The couple has been married since January 2017. Amid the ongoing divorce buzz, Monalisa has been planning a family for a long time. The Nazar actress mentioned that she is hopeful and waiting eagerly for that blessed day. She was quoted as saying:
“Yes, of course. We have been trying for a long time. Ultimately, it is in God’s hands. I am hopeful and waiting for that blessed day.”
Monalisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot’s love story
In a recent interview with IANS, Monalisa revealed that she and Vikrant have been together for eighteen years. After dating for more than 9 years, the couple got married on the show, Bigg Boss 10. The couple tied the knot according to Hindu rituals and their wedding festivities, including haldi and sangeet. Talking about their marriage, Monalisa once said in an interview with Rediff that she and longtime partner, Vikrant, had been planning to get married, but for some reason, they couldn’t. She mentioned that it was a surprise for her as well when Vikrant proposed to her. In her words:
“Vikrant and I have been planning to get married for a long time but some reason, it didn’t fall into place. Even our family members were keen that we get married. The way I got married on the show was a big surprise for me too. Vikrant consulted my parents and then decided to propose to me on the show. For any girl, marriage is a big thing and it’s a special day. I am happy to have got married on a TV show with the entire nation witnessing it.”
