Demi Moore arrived at the Gucci fall 2026 ready-to-wear presentation on Friday morning with two unexpected accessories: a puppy and a bob.
The ultra-short cut was perhaps the more shocking of the two, given that the 63-year-old actress has kept her hair at hip-length for years.

Dressed in head-to-toe leather, Moore unveiled her wet and wavy bob, crafted by celebrity stylist Dimitris Giannetos, to the cameras inside Piazza VI Febbraio, posing alongside Donatella Versace, Brad Goreski and Luca de Meo. Her finely chopped ends, the same inky color they’ve always been, were swept over the right side of her face, brushing up against her blacked-out sunglasses as she took her seat.

Giannetos shared a close-up of Moore’s transformation on Instagram, dubbing it the “Demi-tris BoB.” In his caption, the artist credited himself, his assistant David M. Møller and Opus Beauty chief executive officer Steeve Foussard for the “haircut,” seemingly shutting down wig speculation straight away. WWD has reached out to Giannetos for further comments.

Though Moore has yet to be accused of wearing a hairpiece, many A-listers have been the center of controversy (or “wig gates”) in the past year, including Odessa A’zion, Sabrina Carpenter, Cardi B and Emma Stone. And while some, like Stone and Cardi B, have candidly admitted to wearing one, others, like Carpenter and A’zion, have tried many times to put the rumors to bed.
A’zion attempted to silence the online chatter at the Critics Choice Awards in January, confessing she’s only worn a wig once for the Los Angeles premiere of “Marty Supreme.” Indeed, the internet wouldn’t have it. Calls for A’zion to drop her curl routine rang throughout TikTok, alongside ongoing claims that her hair wasn’t real.
