How to Stream the Actor Awards Red Carpet Online (for Free)

One of Hollywood’s biggest nights is coming up, and no, we’re not talking about the Oscars. The 32nd Actor Awards, formerly called the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, are taking place on March 1 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. The kickoff is at 8 p.m. EST, with viewers being able to tune in via Netflix. In our opinion, the awards show’s red carpet is one of the most spectacular portions of the whole evening, and you can catch all of your favorite nominees, from Timothée Chalamet to Ariana Grande, live without ever so much as leaving your couch: thanks to E!’s much-anticipated “Live From the Red Carpet: Actor Awards 2026” programming.

Proud cable cutter? You can still watch the channel with our editors’ favorite live TV streaming platforms. E! is available on DirecTV and Hulu + Live TV, and we’ll be walking you through the benefits of each streaming service below.

How to Watch the 2026 Actor Awards Red Carpet Online Without Cable

If you’re someone who pores over every single sartorial and beauty detail spotted at the Actor Awards red carpet — like Pamela Anderson’s no-makeup makeup look at last year’s SAG Awards, Cynthia Erivo‘s fringe-forward vintage Givenchy number, or Demi Moore‘s delicately chosen Tiffany & Co. jewels — you can do so again this year with E!’s “Live From the Red Carpet” coverage, which will start exactly two hours before the main event, at 6 p.m. EST.

Our editors suggest turning to DirecTV to stream the 32nd Actor Awards red carpet in real time, but you can also do the same thing on Hulu + Live TV. The best part? It won’t have to cost you a penny, given the fact that both streaming destinations treat first-time customers to free trials. Here’s exactly how to take advantage of them before the big show.

    EDITOR’s CHOICE

    DirecTV

E! is found across DirecTV’s most popular streaming packages, including Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate, and Premier. All subscriptions come with a five-day free trial for watching the Actor Awards red carpet live online, after which you can binge other E! gems like “Sex and the City” and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reruns. Mark our words: You’ll be tempted to commit to DirecTV after sampling all that it offers. Channel bundles start at $84.99 for your first three months (courtesy of DirecTV’s $30-off deal for a limited time only).

    BEST FOR ENTERTAINMENT

    Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV is a streaming leader that specializes in all things entertainment. That being said, it’s equipped with over 95 popular channels (E! is one of them, of course) and Disney+ for your viewing pleasure. Its trial is three days long, but that’s more than enough time to catch everything that goes down at the SAG Awards’ red carpet. After the trial ends, the service will cost you $89.99 a month.

If you love getting the scoop on celebrities and reality TV stars alike, you’ll soon become hooked on Hulu + Live TV’s other channel selections, from Bravo to ABC.

Who Will Be at the Actor Awards 2026 Red Carpet?

The biggest names in film and television — who were voted on by over 160,000 members of the SAG-AFTRA union that presents the awards each year — are going to be gracing the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet, joined by those who aren’t nominees but still want to cheer on their fellow talent. Last February, particularly notable appearances, fashion-wise, were made by Chalamet, turning heads in a Brat-green shirt and Cartier-designed bolo tie; Colman Domingo, who was the epitome of Dandyism in his mashup of Valentino and Swarovski; Grande, who channeled her inner Glinda with the help of pastel pink and floral appliqués; Jamie Lee Curtis, all drama and glamour and feathers; plus many other celebs.

Only time will tell what kinds of trends the A-listers will be bringing to the red carpet in 2026 — be it sheer dresses, fiery-red ones, or gowns boosted by peplum silhouettes. One thing we’re sure of, though: E! hosts Justin Sylvester, Keltie Knight, and Erin Lim Rhodes will be there to document all of it.

Who Is Nominated for the Actor Awards This Year?

“Heated Rivalry” sensation Connor Storrie was one of the announcers of the SAG Awards nominees this past January, and social media buzz has been surrounding the lucky screen actors ever since. Among those nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award are Chalamet (“Marty Supreme”), Leonardo DiCaprio (“One Battle After Another”), and Michael B. Jordan (“Sinners”). In the running for the female counterpart of this award are Jessie Buckley (“Hamnet”), Emma Stone (“Bugonia”), and more. Notably, Jacob Elordi — riding high on all the “Wuthering Heights” hype — is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, based on his role as The Creature in the film “Frankenstein.” Grande is again vying for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role trophy (she was nominated last year for “Wicked,” but Zoe Saldaña clinched the award).

On the television side of things, nominees include Michelle Williams (“Dying for Sex”), Walter Goggins (“The White Lotus”), Martin Short (“Only Murders in the Building”), and the late Catherine O’Hara (“The Studio”).

SAG-AFTRA’s Actor Awards show is “the only televised awards ceremony to exclusively honor actors,” not to mention being one of the most-watched spectacles during awards season. Beloved for its simple, powerful premise (actors honoring actors who have excelled in movies and TV), the yearly happening is also a mecca of current style trends and a predictor of what will soon be en vogue in fashion.

Don’t miss the moment by subscribing to DirecTV or Hulu + Live TV today and streaming “Live From the Red Carpet: Actor Awards 2026” by E! for free online.
