The 2026 BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday night in London turned into date night for several high-profile couples. From British royalty to Hollywood A-listers, the red carpet was full of designer moments.

Kate Middleton and Prince William brought a splash of British royalty to the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards red carpet. The Princess of Wales re-wore her 2019 Gucci two-tone gown in shades of raspberry and aubergine, accessorizing with Greville chandelier earrings and carrying a burgundy Prada clutch. Prince William matched his wife’s red carpet attire with a velvety tuxedo jacket with sharp lapels.

Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler

Ryan and Zinzi Coogler opted for couple coords in black, with the “Sinners” filmmaker and history-making BAFTA winner wearing a classic black and white tuxedo and his wife in a sleeveless black dress.

Peter Sarsgaard pared back his black and white suit, while his wife, filmmaker and actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, wore a look from McQueen’s pre-fall 2015 collection. The black dress featured a plunging neckline with long sleeves and embroidered cuffs.

While BAFTA Film Awards nominee Jesse Plemons wore a black tuxedo with a coordinated bowtie, Kirsten Dunst turned to Valentino’s fall 2026 haute couture collection for her look. The ensemble featured a black A-line skirt with a white bodice and belted waist, complete with a statement pink jacket with puffy shoulders for added dimension.

BAFTA Film Awards 2026 Best Actress nominee Rose Byrne wore a buttery yellow gown with a formfitting bodice, flowing skirt and crystal embellishments on the bodice and halter straps by Miu Miu. Her longtime partner Bobby Cannavale wore a classic tuxedo in black and white.

Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams

Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal made their red carpet debut at the BAFTA Film Awards. The “That’s So True” singer wore a look from Chanel’s pre-fall 2026 collection, designed with ornate embroidery throughout. Mescal wore a suit by Prada.
