Paramount veteran Michael Ireland has found his next studio home, with the executive headed to Warner Bros. as president of production.
He joins Jesse Ehrman in the title, who wrote in a memo to staff
In the note to staff, Ireland stated, “Joining Warner Bros. at this moment feels like being invited onto the 1927 Yankees — a team at the very top of its game. There is a real sense of purpose here and a shared belief in what great storytelling can do.”
Ireland left Paramount as Motion Picture group chief last year amid the Skydance merger after five years at the studio, where he led film efforts with Daria Cercek.
More to come.
Deadline first reported the news.
