Brooklyn Beckham subtly hits back after Gordon Ramsay criticizes ‘difficult’ family feud

Brooklyn Beckham has unfollowed Gordon Ramsey on social media following the “Hell’s Kitchen” star’s blunt comments on the Beckham family feud, Page Six can confirm.

Ramsay still follows the aspiring chef on Instagram. The Daily Mail was the first to report that Brooklyn had unfollowed the famed British TV chef after he criticized David and Victoria’s eldest son for his “infatuation” with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

Reps for Brooklyn and Ramsay did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.

“It’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re infatuated? Love is blind. They say it for that reason,” Ramsay told The Sun in an interview published Friday.

Calling the ongoing family feud a “difficult situation,” Ramsay also speculated that Brooklyn, 26, is “desperate to stand on his own two feet.”

“It’s such a good thing to do,” he told the outlet. “But remember where you came from. And honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that.”

Ramsey also defended Brooklyn’s parents, telling the outlet that “Victoria is upset, and with every right to be upset” amid the feud, which saw Brooklyn claim his mother “danced inappropriately” with him at his 2022 Palm Beach nuptials to Peltz.

The “Master Chef” star — who is a longtime family friend and attended the wedding — added, “I know 24/7, seven days a week, just how much David loves Brooklyn.”

Prior to his bombshell announcement that he doesn’t “want to reconcile” with the former Spice Girl and soccer star, Brooklyn unfollowed many of his family members on social media in December.

Ramsay, however, claimed to still have a good relationship with his best friends’ son. “Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit, our relationship is solid,” he told the Sun. “I love him – his heart is incredible.”

“I just want Brooklyn to take a moment to himself. And remember: you’re half mum, half dad. And you’re an amazing young man,” he said in part.

“But, boy, they’ve done more for you than anyone did in your entire life.”

A source told the Daily Mail on Saturday that Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, “clearly don’t want any criticism at all.”

“They just don’t want to hear any negativity about themselves,” a friend of the Ramsays and Beckhams told the news outlet. “They must hate being talked about unless it’s gushing. Maybe they don’t like the truth.”

Brooklyn took to Instagram Stories in January to address the ongoing rift with his family members. In the six-page screed, the photographer wrote, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

He also accused his parents of controlling “narratives in the press about our family,” engaging in “inauthentic relationships,” and “trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with Peltz.
