Paris Texas Expands Popular Lidia Family With New Thong Styles

Paris Texas is expanding its popular Lidia family with fresh thong styles capturing the brand’s Texan-Parisian personality.

The thong design is described as “deliberate and geometric” as the recognizable pin-thin Lidia heel adds a “sculptural authority.” The thong concept is applied to multiple silhouettes, one of which is the Thong Mule in black or Texas rose patent leather. There’s also the Ring Mule, which showcases a toe ring, in printed python black leather or in mirror gold.

The Lidia Thong Boot, meanwhile, ventures into hybrid territory. The open-toe boot makes use of stretch napa leather for a skin-tight fit, merging bold western inspiration with a feminine heel. Lastly, the Lidia Thong Feathers option, tapping into the brand’s Parisian energy, is embellished with meticulously selected and hand-applied feathers. This style is offered in black and turquoise crepe de chine.

The preexisting Lidia mule is a popular style from the brand, offering an ultra-minimalist silhouette with a simple curved toe strap and the fierce pin heel. A range of celebrities have proven to be fans of the style, including Rosé, who paired a silver version with a denim skirt and T-shirt; Tyla, who wore a neutral-hued iteration with a Dsquared2 dress, and Emily Ratajkowski, who’s worn a black option with a blue snake print dress by Tom Ford for Gucci. The Lidia family encompasses other silhouettes like boots and slingback pumps as well.
