Adidas has welcomed musician Peso Pluma to the family, establishing a partnership with the chart-topping Mexican singer and rapper who has helped bring Mexican music to a global audience.
The brand said of the partnership and artist in an official release, “Coming together with a shared commitment to moving through the heart of culture with authenticity, energy, and unapologetic pride, Peso Pluma embodies how the next generation is redefining what it means to be a global artist while staying rooted in heritage.”

Peso Pluma said in a statement, “Representing the three stripes for Mexico and our music with Adidas is something I dreamed about since I was a kid. This isn’t just about me, it’s for my people, my culture, and everyone pushing Mexico forward. I’m excited to join the Adidas family and keep showing the world who we are.”
Already with ties to fashion, Peso Pluma has appeared at fashion shows for brands including Off-White and Thom Browne, and was featured in a digital series for Myslf Le Parfum by YSL Beauty. He also became the first Mexican ambassador for the New York Fashion Week, an appointment made by the CFDA.
The announcement of the partnership comes about as Adidas remains dedicated to investing in artists who are “redefining global popular culture.”

The athletic brand has strong ties to the music industry. Bad Bunny and Adidas, for example, have been collaborating since 2021, and the Puerto Rican star’s first signature shoe with the brand was recently released. In the a campaign for the Superstar sneaker released in 2025, several musicians were featured including Missy Elliott, GloRilla, Teezo Touchdown and Jennie, in addition to stars of other industries. Pharrell Williams is also a longtime partner, with his Virginia Adistar Jellyfish winning Shoe of the Year at the 2025 FNAAs.
