Actor Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a six-month jail term in a decade-old cheque-bounce case. He surrendered at Delhi’s Tihar Jail earlier this week in the case involving nearly Rs 9 crore. The bail hearing for the cheque-bounce case is scheduled later today.
Moments before he surrendered at the Tihar Jail, Yadav shared his ordeal in the cheque-bounce case. He claimed that he had no money and friends, and surrendering was his only option.
Bollywood celebrities, including Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn and others extended financial help. His wife, Radha Yadav, thanked members of the Hindi film industry for helping him amid his financial struggles. The family is confident that the hearing would go in their favour.
