Chanel Opens Seasonal Boutique in Aspen

Chanel is joining the action in Aspen.

The French luxury brand will open a new seasonal boutique Thursday in the Roaring Fork Valley of the Rocky Mountains. The Aspen boutique spans 2,693 square feet and features a selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods and shoes as well as an assortment of watches and fine jewelry. The opening marks the house’s return to Aspen following a previous ephemeral boutique in 2022.

Taking cues from the region’s striking scenery and elevated luxury, the interior of the two-level boutique features the house’s signature black, white and beige tones with the ambience of the town. Beige stone patterns and neutral plaster walls are paired with plush carpeting to create a comfortable setting, while dark wood displays and white shelving, accented with black metal details, provide visual contrasts and textural depth throughout the space.

Upon entering is a display of leather goods and accessories, which opens into a living area featuring ready-to-wear and a dedicated shoe corner. There are two fitting rooms. Within this setting, visitors can explore the Coco Neige 2025-26 collection, including coordinated knit sets, outerwear and layering pieces that can be worn on and off the slopes. Anchoring the first floor is a champagne-metallic fireplace.

The living area extends to the second floor, where a long creamy tweed couch, adorned with black puffer tweed pillows and plush faux fur throws, greets guests at the top of the staircase. A selection of ready-to-wear and accessories from the spring pre-collection is displayed, including neutral separates, leather jackets and denim. Also on the second floor is a fitting room reserved for top clients featuring a separate seating area, discreetly enclosed by a neutral tweed curtain.
