On Thursday, Away announced Fora as its official travel agency partner.
As part of this strategic partnership, the collaboration aims to bring together Away’s customer base with Fora’s global network of travel advisers for a connected end-to-end experience. The companies said that this new partnership is built on travelers’ insights to design a more unified travel planning experience — with inspiration, smart product solutions, exclusive offers and curated trips.
Noting the synergy for this new partnership, the crossover between the two brands is a “shared belief of solving travel pain points through thoughtful, customer-centered products and experiences.” Just as Away has helped redefine the travel essentials and luggage industry with its design and innovation, Fora is also a disrupter in the travel adviser space by using human expertise with technology to help plan trips.
With Away launching more than a decade ago, this collaboration marks Fora’s first consumer brand collaboration on a large scale. Fora said this is a milestone for the travel company’s strategy to help build awareness with travelers and its prospective advisers. In turn, Away said it continues to support the next wave of game changers in the travel space.
“Our mission at Away is to be at the forefront of travel innovation and we’re thrilled to partner with like-minded industry pioneer Fora,” said Jessica Schinazi, chief executive officer of Away. “This partnership aims to create travel experiences for our shared consumers that are smarter, more seamless and ultimately more memorable.”
For the first phase of this newly minted partnership, Away will introduce its first wedding capsule in the spring — which aligns with a rise in wedding-related travel bookings Fora has seen during this time over the past two years. The brands said this case-usage driven launch will provide a “premium experience” for couples seeking out a seamless and curated travel offering from engagement to honeymoon.
“At Fora, we believe great travel should be accessible, personal and thoughtfully designed — no matter the destination. Partnering with Away allows us to meet travelers at every stage of the journey and elevate the experience, whether it’s a weekend cruise, a once-in-a-lifetime safari or a laid-back beach escape. Together, we’re redefining what modern travel can feel like from the moment you start dreaming to the moment you unpack,” said Henley Vazquez, cofounder of Fora.
Away’s previous collaborations include a wide range of brands, such as “The White Lotus” for all three seasons, luggage partner for the WNBA’s New York Liberty, Sandy Liang, La Ligne, Vaquera, Paloma Spain and Ashish.
