A controversy has erupted over the use of marker pens instead of indelible ink to mark voters’ fingers during Maharashtra local body elections, with the opposition alleging that the move could enable electoral fraud.
Raj Thackeray questioned the election process and accused the government of manipulating systems to win elections. “I want to bring to notice how the system is being implemented by the government. They want to win elections at any cost. They will do anything for that,” he said.
