The little detail you missed noticing on Nupur Sanon’s wedding lehenga

Actress Nupur Sanon stunned in a dreamy array of outfits throughout her wedding celebrations. The diva tied the knot with musician Stebin Ben in a grand Udaipur affair earlier this month and has been sharing heartwarming glimpses from the festivities on social media.

One element that truly stands out in their wedding album is Nupur’s impeccable sartorial choices. For the Hindu wedding ceremony, she opted for a stunning coral-and-red ombre lehenga by designer Manish Malhotra, styled with heavy double dupattas – a refreshingly unique colour combination.

But that wasn’t all. Nupur also paid a heartfelt tribute to Stebin’s cultural roots with a special message embroidered in Malayalam on her dupatta. The message loosely translates to, “If you are with me, the journey is poetry.”

Since Stebin hails from a Malayali Christian family, Nupur had a special line embroidered in Malayalam.

Adding another deeply personal touch, she chose to include one more message on her wedding dupatta – this one in Punjabi written in Devnaagri. It read, “Tu mere kal da sukoon, te ajj da shukar,” which translates to, “You are the peace of my tomorrow and the gratitude of my today.”

Nupur Sanon got heartfelt lines (in Malayalam and Punjabi) embroidered on her wedding dupatta.

Nupur also set major fashion goals with her sangeet night look. Steering away from the usual glitter-laden ensembles, she opted for a striking multi-hued, panelled lehenga set from the label Itrh. However, it was her blouse that truly stole the spotlight.

A bevy of mirror lace jhaalars adorned her blouse, cascading from the shoulders and bodice to create a layered, draped effect. The mirror-embellished strings also doubled up as a cape, covering her shoulders and flowing down her back. The same mirror strings seamlessly integrated into her braid, giving the blouse a cohesive, jewellery-like extension.

A heavy stack of traditional kadas, a statement maang tikka, and rings rounded off her look. The actress relied on Sukriti Grover, who is also Kriti Sanon’s stylist, to curate her wedding wardrobe.

Which of the two looks did you like better?
