Oprah Winfrey turned a 92NY event into an all-white affair. The media mogul was there to discuss her new book, “Enough: Your Health, Your Weight, and What It’s Like to Be Free,” that she cowrote alongside Dr. Ania M. Jastreboff. For the conversation, which took place on Tuesday in New York, Winfrey was outfitted in a long white dress and white Fendi boots.

Winfrey slipped into a pair of the fashion house’s First boots style in a smooth cream leather. The Fendi First 105mm ankle boots are a reimagination of a shoe model from Fendi’s spring 2020 collection. The First boots boast an architectural construction, with an ankle-length design that sits atop a gold-tone heel, sculptured to resemble an upside-down “F.”
The unique boot heel measures around four inches and adds an unconventional flair to the shoe. The boots feature a sharp pointed-toe design that peaked through the bottom of her dress. A size zipper with gold buckles can also be found on the inner side of the boot shaft.

Fendi also created the boots with a rounded-toe silhouette, that gave them a more casual appeal. They are currently sold out but were also available in all black with gold hardware. Winfrey paired the stylish boots with a formfitting, floor-length dress that featured long sleeves and a turtleneck design. The garment featured a mermaid silhouette that hugged her frame at the top but was slightly flared at the bottom.
Winfrey’s longtime friend and collaborator Gayle King also joined in on the conversation and provided some contrast to the all-white look by wearing a bright, colorful ensemble. King went with a vibrant hot pink suit, that included a blazer and wide-legged trousers, which she paired with a purple suede pointed-toe boots that appeared to be the Ultrastuart 100 Stretch Pointed Toe Over the Knee Boot by Stuart Weitzman.

“Enough: Your Health, Your Weight, and What It’s Like to Be Free” centers on Winfrey’s lifelong struggles with her weight. The book was inspired by conversations with Jastreboff from the Yale School of Medicine, and together in the book, they discuss that having obesity is not a choice or a question of willpower, but instead, it all stems from each person’s biology. The book is in stores now.
