The “All Her Fault” star was styled in a long, floor-length gown in a sparkling champagne color, adorned with shimmering embellishments that catch the light. The dress features an off-the-shoulder neckline with one draped cap sleeve. The gown featured a form-fitting silhouette around the bodice, with some light fabric gathering at the hip.
A slight slit on the left side adds a romantic touch, and the fabric pools slightly at the feet, creating a small train and allowing her shoes to peek through. Her high heels were visible as she walked through the carpet, allowing for movement on her gown’s skirt. The actress opted for a pair of elegant strappy satin sandals in a nude shade, with a towering stiletto heel measuring around five inches.

She added more shimmer to her look with a diamond necklace from Leighton Jewels. The look was styled by Samantha McMillen, who is typically behind both Dakota and her sister Elle Fanning’s major red carpet appearances.
This time around, Fanning was on hand as a presenter instead of a nominee, after earning a 2025 nod for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for her role in Netflix’s psychological thriller series “Ripley.”

If last year was about full drama, this year read as a more demure take on fairytale princess dressing. Fanning’s last Globes red carpet look leaned maximal — a red Dolce & Gabbana gown with a draped silhouette, thigh-high slit and scarf-like train — a nod to the both the red trend and sheer streak that ran through the night. This year on the carpet, it was all about shine and sparkle, with multiple stars being dressed in sequins dresses and high shine jewelry and shoes.
