Sabrina Dhowre Elba joined her husband Idris Elba in a coordinated, streamlined monochrome look for the New York City premiere of “Hijack” season two.
For the occasion, the Elbas opted for sleek attire, with Dhowre Elba wearing a take on suited styling in monochrome. The black suit featured a slouchy blazer, with sinuous lapels and angled buttons. The shift silhouette of the piece matched the trousers, accentuating the limp fabric with tailored elements to maintain a fit curated to Dhowre Elba’s frame.

The former model added a pair of Saint Laurent statement slingback heels to her look, featuring hand-folded rose appliqués at the pointed toe. Simplicity was the approach Dhowre Elba took with her accessories, favoring delicate earrings to complete her ensemble.
As for his red carpet look, “Hijack” star Idris Elba opted for pared back attire, with coordinated black trousers and crewneck T-shirt and a gray and black coat with rounded lapels. A green durag added a pop of color to Elba’s mostly subdued look.

Along with their marriage of nearly seven years, the Elbas are also business partners, having founded skin care company S’Able Labs in 2020, a melanin-inclusive based brand focused on curating and cultivating a range of products.
“Start with the group with the most need, and you get better skin care for everyone,” Dhowre Elba told WWD’s Beauty Inc during WWD x FN x Beauty Inc’s annual Women in Power in September 2024. “The needs of melanin-rich skin are unfortunately seen as niche. It’s drier because it lacks ceramides, it’s more sensitive, being more prone to inflammation. What you get is skincare that’s actually better for a greater part of the population,” she said of S’Able Labs.
