Polymarket Joins the Golden Globes as Exclusive Prediction Market Partner

Polymarket, a leading prediction market platform, has entered into an exclusive partnership with the Golden Globe Awards, marking a first for the entertainment awards industry. The collaboration introduces live, data-driven information into the Golden Globes ecosystem, giving audiences real-time insights into the outcomes of this year’s ceremony.

Under the agreement, Polymarket will provide branded integrations and live market data during the official 2026 Golden Globes viewing party. These insights will be featured across event broadcasts, digital platforms and editorial coverage, reflecting how fan sentiment aligns with market-based probabilities of who might win key categories.

“The Golden Globes have long been a place where audiences debate and predict what will happen next,” Shayne Coplan, founder and chief executive officer of Polymarket, said via a statement. “Polymarket reflects those expectations through markets spanning entertainment and culture, and this partnership brings that perspective directly into one of awards season’s biggest moments. By pairing cultural debate with market-based probabilities, we’re giving fans a new, more interactive way to follow the show as it unfolds.”

Craig Perreault, president of Penske Media Corp., called the partnership a new model for audience engagement that “unlocks a groundbreaking new frontier, redefining how audiences engage with and connect to the content they love.”

Founded in New York, Polymarket enables users to trade on the outcomes of future events, ranging from politics and finance to entertainment. The company’s real-time forecasting data is often cited as an indicator of public expectations.

This season, Polymarket is also among the sponsors of the WWD Style Awards, which will take place on Friday at the Regent Santa Monica in Los Angeles, ahead of the 83rd annual Golden Globes. The event will recognize Demi Moore, Pamela Anderson, Giorgio Armani, Hailey Bieber, Omega and others.

The Golden Globes, produced by Dick Clark Productions, have recognized excellence in film and television since 1944. Its 2026 edition will air live on Sunday from 8 to 11 p.m. ET on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
