Shatrughan Sinha praised Reena Roy’s talent and personality, describing her as one of the finest actresses of her generation. In his post, he wished her good health and happiness, adding that she remains an ever-charming presence both on and off screen.

The birthday tribute inevitably stirred nostalgia among fans, given the actors’ past romantic association. Shatrughan and Reena were one of the most popular on-screen pairs of the 1970s and shared screen space in several successful films. Their collaboration began with Subhash Ghai’s 1976 film Kalicharan, which proved to be a major turning point in Shatrughan’s career, catapulting him to stardom. The duo went on to work together in hits such as Milap, Sangram, Sat Sri Akal and Chor Ho To Aisa.
