50 Cent is a generational hater. Let’s take it a step further: he’s on the Mount Rushmore of haters. The G-Unit mogul is as petty as they come in beef and there’s no line he won’t cross to make his opps question why they would ever want to feud with him in the first place.
50’s been trolling way before it became a popular term among millennials and part of the DNA of the social media zeitgeist.
In part, his rap career took off because of trolling with his breakout “How to Rob” single in 1999, which found him hypothetically mugging Diddy, Keith Sweat, Mase and Master P. He remains entrenched in a cold war with a few of the “How to Rob” targets decades later, like Jay-Z and Diddy, the latter of whom 50 claims his beef started with after Combs asked to take him shopping.
While 50 isn’t dominating the charts and cooking up club anthems in a bulletproof vest like it’s the mid-2000s, as his focus has switched to his G-Unit Film/TV production company and spirits empire, the Queens icon’s unfiltered opinions still move the needle globally.
Trolling has long been part of the equation in rap beefs, and 50 has the cleverness, audacity and catalog to back it up in battle. 50’s antagonizing antics that landed on his ThisIs50 website were ahead of their time. He’s got a PHD diploma in understanding the internet, and has shown a shrewd ability to evolve in the digital era. At the same time, many of the 50-year-old’s peers would probably pronounce meme incorrectly.
While he seems to take joy in emasculating his opponents, 50 says he doesn’t take his art of war too seriously. “None of that is really personal, it’s just me having fun at the end of the day,” 50 told Hot 97 in 2024.
With victims ranging from Fat Joe to DJ Khaled and Rick Ross, here we recall some of 50 Cent’s most memorable trolling moments over the years.

Jay-Z’s Close-Up
Date: May 2024

LOL IM ALL YOU GOT IM OUTSIDE,” he captioned the post on Instagram.
This was also prior to the civil sexual assault lawsuit filed against Diddy and Jay, which accused Jay-Z of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000. The December 2024 suit was voluntarily dismissed by the accuser and Jay filed a defamation countersuit.

They Took My Oil Also
Date: January 2026
Following the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, 50 mocked Diddy by posting a political cartoon of Combs and Maduro as bunkmates inside a jail cell. “They took my oil too,” Diddy says in the cartoon, which finds him braiding Maduro’s hair. “Good morning ladies and gentlemen, may today be productive and prosperous towards you and your goals. Make your enemies watch your progress repeatedly,” 50 captioned the post, which has over 1 million likes on IG.

No More Child Support
Date: October 2022
50 put his son, Marquise Jackson, on blast with a hilarious skit mocking him over the then-25-year-old complaining that $6,700 in child support monthly wasn’t enough to “rebuild” his life. 50 enjoys a cigar and a bubble bath while making fun of his estranged kid. Uncle Murda and Tony Yayo then show up at his front door, asking for $6,700 a month to help pay bills and get by.

Fat Joe’s Music Sends 50 to the Hospital
Date: September 2009
50 Cent and Fat Joe engaged in a vicious beef from 2004 through 2012, which they squashed following the passing of mutual friend Chris Lighty. Ahead of his time, 50 posted a video in 2009 dissing Joe’s “Cupcake” single, which caused 50 to suffer “noise poisoning” and need a trip to the hospital after hearing the track. He continued to joke that Joe’s new single was the catalyst behind disasters and accidents taking place all over society.

A Diabolical Poem for DJ Khaled
Date: February 2009
DJ Khaled’s beef with G-Unit dates back to him allegedly refusing to shake Tony Yayo’s hand in 2005 because of 50’s beef with Khaled’s close friend, Fat Joe. 50 antagonized Khaled by penning him a poem titled “I Just Wanna Tell You What a Psychic Told Me.” It’s like an ominous horror movie scene as 50 details stabbing out his tires. He invokes Khaled’s mom in the feud, while posting clips of her alleged home and footage of her sleeping at work. 50 claimed that French Montana got him the videos.
-
Rick Ross’ Baby Mother Sextape Leak
Date: March 2009
There’s no place 50 wouldn’t go to embarrass his opponent and theoretically win a beef. He pushed moral boundaries in his brutal feud with Rick Ross when he leaked an explicit sextape online between Rozay’s ex, Lastonia Levison, and another man in 2009. She filed a defamation suit and 50 was ordered to pay her $7 million, which was reduced to $6 million in a settlement. Some beef never dies.

I’m Sorry Fofty
Date: April 2019
50 entered an unlikely feud with Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and her then-fiancé Randall Emmett, who was an executive producer of Power, over an alleged $1 million debt owed to the G-Unit mogul.
Emmett couldn’t handle the public excoriation and heat from 50. A goldmine of memes was born through alleged leaked texts with Emmett apologizing to 50, while calling him Fofty by mistake. “I’m sorry Fofty. I’m heading to the emergency room. I’m not doing well,” he wrote. “Please don’t text me anymore. I’m sorry for everything. This is too much for me. I’m so hurt and not feeling well.”
50 wasn’t having it. “F—k you Randall,” he fired back in the leaked texts. “I want all my money Monday, f–k that. If he ain’t got it, he can put his Rolls Royce on the truck to NY. The friend s—t is overrated.” 50 went on to capitalize on the viral “Fofty” memes by even making his own merch for it. “You’re not going to die before Monday,” 50 added. “Go ahead knock yourself out LOL.”

Date: February 2005
50 announced The Game was kicked out of G-Unit during an interview with Power 105.1. “Across the street or around the corner,” he said of where The Game was in relation to his status with G-Unit. “Not after being that disrespectful.”
Game was on a press tour of his own in NYC and got wind of 50’s comments through fans calling in to his interview with Angie Martinez. Later that day, 50 paid Funk Flex a visit and detailed his issues with Game. “I think he has a problem with my position,” he added. “I think he’d like to be 50 Cent.” With 30 goons at his side, Game pulled up to press 50 and a quickly infamous shootout took place outside the Hot 97 studios. Fortunately, only one person was injured by the gunfire.

The Diddy Bike Seat
Date: September 2024
50 Cent is the hater-in-chief of the Diddy fan club. 50’s trolling ways went to new levels amid the Bad Boy CEO’s legal troubles and federal sexual abuse trial. Just ahead of Combs’ 2024 arrest, Diddy posted a series of photos getting a workout with a bike ride. The Queens legend hopped into the comments in true 50 Cent fashion: “You know there ain’t no seat on that bike right,” he joked.

Buys Out Front Rows at Ja Rule’s Concert
Date: June 2018
50 Cent and Ja Rule’s beef dates back to 1999, and the G-Unit mogul hasn’t let up an inch in continuing to let Ja know he’s his biggest hater. Back in June 2018, 50 saw the Murda Inc. artist was having a concert with $15 tickets available in Arlington, Texas, and 50 proceeded to buy out the first few rows of tickets so Ja Rule would be performing with empty seats in front of him. “I said give me the first four rows. Now you gotta test your showmanship,” 50 recalled on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
