Taylor, who was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in “One Battle After Another,” looked to Saint Laurent’s fall 2025 menswear collection to dress for the awards show. A noteworthy element of this particular men’s show was the prevalence of statement thigh-high boots in black leather, which WWD’s Miles Socha referred to as one of the “dollops of subversion” in a review of the collection. In addition to a high-reaching shaft, the silhouette features strong piping along the upper. A popular shoe of 2025, the boots have also been worn by Pedro Pascal at “The Last of Us” season two premiere and Alexander Skarsgård at the Cannes Film Festival.

The rest of Taylor’s Critics Choice look included trousers tucked into her boots and a double-breasted blazer in olive green, which accompanied a crisp white collared shirt and striped tie offering a pop of red to her ensemble. The boots weren’t the only outsized element of Taylor’s look, as her suit was accessorized with a voluminous black feathery boa.
The multihyphenate’s taste in footwear is eclectic, but often leans toward bolder styles — whether it’s metallic mirror-effect stiletto boots from Amina Muaddi, Marc Jacobs Kiki boots (a style she’s worn many times), sinuous René Caovilla sandals or Chanel boots with a large pearl heel.
