The first look poster of the much-anticipated film Spirit has attracted significant attention since its unveiling. Sam Merchant, who is rumoured to be in a relationship with actor Triptii Dimri, has now reacted to it. The poster, which features both Triptii and Prabhas, was revealed on January 1 at 12 am.
Sam shared the film’s poster on his Instagram account and included heart emojis in his post. This drew interest from fans and followers who closely monitor updates involving the pair.
In addition to Sam, several prominent Bollywood personalities responded to the poster on social media. Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Janhvi Kapoor were among those who liked the post. Kiara Advani, who previously worked with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in Kabir Singh, also reacted to the post.
Other industry figures, including Vineeth Kumar Singh, Veer Pahariya, and Rajat Bedi, commented on the announcement.
Earlier, Sandeep Reddy Vanga too shared the poster on his social media profile. The caption of the post read, “INDIAN CINEMA. witness your AJANUBAHUDU / AJANUBAHU. Happy New Year 2026 (sic).”
Spirit features Prabhas and Triptii in leading roles, while Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana have been cast in supporting parts. Reports have also suggested that Korean actor Don Lee, known as Ma Dong-seok, may be involved, though this has not been officially confirmed by the filmmakers.
The film’s production formally commenced earlier this year with a launch attended by notable industry members, including Chiranjeevi, who gave the inaugural clap. Deepika Padukone was previously linked to the leading role but exited the project following reported differences with the production team.
Subsequently, on Prabhas’ birthday, Vanga released a promotional audio teaser described as a ‘sound story’, featuring voices of Prabhas and Prakash Raj to introduce the film’s world.
