The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced 32,679 new constable vacancies, opening another major hiring cycle after the recruitment of 60,244 posts earlier in 2025.
The notification, released on Monday, states that online applications will be accepted from December 31, 2025, to January 30, 2026. With this, UP Police begins one of its largest recruitment drives, aiming to strengthen the state’s police force across districts.
The Board has also made one-time registration (OTR) mandatory for all candidates. Without completing OTR, applicants will not be able to submit the online form.
Officials said the recruitment comes as part of an ongoing push to fill long-pending vacancies and improve manpower availability in field units, police stations and special wings. The posts are open to candidates from across the state and outside, subject to eligibility criteria.
The recruitment will include written examinations, physical efficiency tests, physical measurement tests and document verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance across all stages.
