Lauren Sánchez Bezos took a break from her usual designer garb to twin in all-black ski wear with her husband, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, in the sumptuous mountain town of Aspen on Monday. The two were spotted leaving The White House restaurant after Sánchez Bezos’ 56th birthday the night before.

The former journalist channeled the après-ski aesthetic of the town, dressing in Sun Valley’s Idalen Softshell Ski Pants with white piping, a black zip-up jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and lace-up snow boots. For accessories, she opted for the oversize Moncler Diffractor ML0206 shields and a small pendant necklace.
Next to her, Bezos matched in a monochromatic ensemble, featuring Bogner Sport Tim Ski Trousers, a shiny long sleeve, a black baseball cap, matching snow boots and a quilted jacket in hand.

The atheltic wear was a major style switch from the Western-inspired fashion both Sánchez Bezos and Bezos were photographed in on Sunday night. To celebrate her 56th birthday, the newlyweds, who tied the knot in Italy this past June, hit the town with Grammy-winning DJ and music producer Diplo. Sánchez Bezos dressed in an eggplant-colored Christian Dior lamb velvet wrap coat from John Galliano’s fall 2000 collection and a crocodile leather Hermès Kelly 25 bag, while her husband stepped out in a mustard-green Tom Ford calfskin suede jacket with shearling lining.

Sánchez Bezos’ chocolate brown hair fell flat around her shield sunglasses.
With winter in full swing and the holidays coming to a close, it’s likely more A-listers and influencers will soon flock to Aspen for similar weekend getaways. For years, Aspen has been revered as the ultimate mountain town escape — a hedonistic hub for the upper echelons of Hollywood and beyond. With clubs on the main strip, castle lodges, high-end restaurants and a landmark opera house, the town exudes luxury, the beauty aesthetic included.
Sánchez Bezos demonstrated the Aspen aesthetic, which makeup artist Alex Persico described as “polished, elevated beauty with a touch of winter warmth.”
“It’s glamour without trying too hard. It’s more ‘quiet luxury’ than red carpet drama,” she told WWD. “Hydration is non-negotiable. Rose water, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide works beautifully for that smooth, lit-from-within finish.”
