At least 35 children were injured in a road accident near Bishnah in Jammu on Saturday when a school bus they were travelling in overturned after hitting a divider.
The incident occurred on the ring road while the children were returning from a picnic. The school bus lost balance after striking the road divider.
All injured children were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. There was no immediate information on the severity of their injuries.
Police and local authorities reached the spot soon after the accident and initiated further action.
