Olivia Dean’s Jimmy Choo Pumps Add Sparkle to Her Jingle Ball Performance

Olivia Dean brought a bit of holiday sparkle to her Jingle Ball performance in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday with a festive pair of Jimmy Choo heels, a brand the up-and-coming musician often reaches for.

Dean wore the luxury label’s Love silhouette, a pump style with a striking pointed toe and a higher cut than normal which provides additional coverage for the foot. The Made-in-Italy style is elevated by a stiletto heel. The “Man I Need” singer wore a version crafted from white mesh and decorated with hotfix crystals, a glittering base to her stage look which also included a feathery white minidress and white tights. This shoe choice aligns with Dean’s previous footwear choices, among them a black version of the crystal-embellished style which was worn with a Richard Quinn dress at the Aria Awards in Sydney last month.

The Love style, worn by other celebrities like Camila Alves, is a popular style for Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo chief executive officer Hannah Colman mentioned the silhouette when talking about the brand’s footwear bestsellers in an interview with WWD.

“One of our bestselling shoes is the Azia [a strappy sandal]. It launched a long time ago, and originally it was called Lance. Then there’s the classic Love pump, and the Ixia pump, which is a modern version of the Love, with a [teardrop] shaped heel. The Ixia is super-modern, very architectural and becoming an icon in its own right. The heel makes it sturdy — and incredibly comfortable.”

Dean is a devotee of Jimmy Choo footwear. In another example of her showcasing the brand, she wore Afia Mesh pumps during her Jingle Ball performance in Boston on Sunday. To name other examples, she’s also reached for the Isa pumps, Amita pumps and Agathe boots from the label.
