The makers of Border 2 unveiled the film’s teaser on Tuesday at a grand event in Mumbai. The teaser, which gives a glimpse of the four war heroes, feels like a tribute to India’s defence forces — much on the lines of its predecessor Border. The teaser launch marked Vijay Diwas, the day commemorated to celebrate India’s victory in the 1971 war.
The film is headlined by the group of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The teaser features the grit and intensity that the Border franchise stands for.
While Sunny Deol appears in his iconic, battle-hardened avatar, Dhawan flaunts his unwavering determination on duty. Diljit Dosanjh radiates a raw resilience in the heart of a conflict, and Ahan Shetty showcases bold, youthful courage as seen in the teaser.
Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh, is a strong testament to the brotherhood, sacrifice, and emotion at the heart of the franchise.
Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films. Backed by a powerful production team including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. The film is scheduled for release on 23 January, 2026.
