Mariah Carey opened one of her “Christmastime in Las Vegas” residency shows on Saturday, wearing a pair of sparkly custom shoes by Flor de Maria. The singer is in Sin City for 10 holiday concerts that are taking place at the Dolby Live at the Park MGM hotel.

So far, she has been outfitted in extravagant Christmas-inspired looks, down to her shoes. The “All I Want for Christmas” singer has carried the holiday theme through her footwear, opting for high-shine, glittery shoes. Carey opened her holiday residency in November with metallic gold Giuseppe Zanotti Hattie knee-high boots.
For her opening number this weekend, Carey descended onto the stage in a snowflake wearing a white and red, candy cane stripes-inspired dress. The dress featured a sparkly strapless, floor-length design that concealed the heels while she sang. The shoes peeked through as she sat on the snowflake. The shoes were red platforms designed exclusively for her by the brand’s owner, Flor de Maria Rivera.
The red heels were adorned with more than 10,000 crystals on luxurious silk satin, each one placed by hand. The shoes featured a towering block heel measuring around five inches, balanced by a lofty platform at the front. The shoes are designed with a strap over the vamp that narrows toward the center.
There are crossover straps midfoot that wrap around the ankles, creating a double-strap design with adjustable silver buckles to secure the foot in place. Rivera teamed up with Carey’s styling team, Antonio Estebán and Wilfredo Rosado, to design the shoes and create the look.

“It’s an absolute honor to see a music legend, whose songs have been the soundtrack to so many unforgettable moments, especially all throughout my 20s, shine onstage in something I created from the heart,” the footwear designer said on Instagram. “And now, for the second year in a row, she’s chosen my shoes. Moments like this remind me why I pour my soul into every design.”
Carey wore custom heels from Flor De Maria at her Las Vegas residency in 2024. The pair were crystal-embellished gold, strappy heels. The open-toe sandals also featured a platform with an ultra-tall heel. Carey wore another red pair, also designed exclusively for her.
