Michael Annett’s professional journey earned him admiration across NASCAR’s national Series. He had competed in racing for more than a decade, beginning with the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2009. One of the biggest highs of his career was in 2009 when he won the season-opening Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway. It instantly made him a popular star on the track. During his career, he had numerous opportunities to race with teams such as Germain Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports, and JR Motorsports before retiring at the end of the 2021 season.
Despite the illustrious career, Michael Annett was forced to retire early following a stress fracture in his right femur, initially forcing him to miss seven races in 2021.
