India Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill has been declared fully fit and available for selection across all formats after successfully completing his rehabilitation program at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE).
According to medical officials, Gill not only completed his rehab but also met all requisite fitness and performance criteria required for his return to competitive cricket. His recovery process has been closely monitored, and the results have been termed “successful and satisfactory.”
Gill will be formally discharged from the CoE, accompanied by a detailed clinical handover that will be provided to the respective Sports Science & Medicine (SSM) team overseeing his reintegration into training and match preparation
Gill was selected to play in the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, beginning on December 9. However, his participation was subject to fitness clearance from the CoE, which he has now received.
