Sole Bliss continues to expand its celebrity fan base in the U.S. While Queen Camilla of England and other European royals have relied on the brand for years, their famous fans in the States, like Drew Barrymore, are spreading the word to promote the comfortable shoes.
The talk show host invited her longtime friend and “Charlie’s Angels” costar Lucy Liu to appear on the Friday episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” where the two actors had a major twinning moment during the appearance.

Liu and Barrymore matched in identical tan Max Mara suits with matching Brooks Brothers shirts and ties, which has become the host’s signature style for her daytime TV gig. She usually pairs the suits and wide-legged trousers with towering platform shoes with a towering block heel, often from Sole Bliss.
Barrymore has been spreading the gospel about the heels, singing Sole Bliss’ praises among her famous friends. According to the brand, during a party at the White House, the “50 First Dates” star took off her shoes and made Liu put them on. “You have to try these shoes,” she reportedly said, highlighting how comfortable they are to her. Shortly after the White House event, the Sole Bliss team says Reese Witherspoon called asking about the shoes, following a recommendation from Barrymore.

The shoes in question are Sole Bliss’s signature “Remy” platform heel, priced at $399 and available in eight colors. The five-inch heels are podiatrist-approved and are a fit for those looking for more pain-free high heels. The Remy offers the height and style of a traditional platform, while incorporating podiatrist comfort technology.
Liu also wore the Remy platforms in black to attend the Hand and Footprint Ceremony honoring actor James Hong at TCL Chinese Theatre on February 2024 in Hollywood. Sole Bliss has counted on other celebrity fans like Julia Roberts, Kelly Clarkson and Oprah Winfrey.

The Remy platforms are in black suede.
“It’s been absolutely thrilling to see so many A-listers wearing our shoes,” Sole Bliss founder Lisa Kay said. “We’ve always believed that women shouldn’t have to choose between style and comfort, and to have someone like Drew Barrymore championing that message — literally taking off her shoes to share with friends — is beyond anything we could have imagined. When we got the call from Reese Witherspoon’s team, we knew something special was happening.”
