After working on the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 3 models in succession, it looks like top-selling Latin artist J Balvin will soon keep the pattern going with a new rendition of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker.
Images of a J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 collaboration first emerged following the artist’s Ciudad Primavera homecoming concert Saturday in Medellín. J Balvin was spotted on stage in the multicolored sneakers but at the time, it wasn’t immediately clear if they were an official collaboration or potentially a customized project. By Wednesday, it was all but confirmed that the sneakers are indeed J Balvin’s next Jordan Brand collaboration.
The confirmation came by way of fellow Jordan Brand partner DJ Khaled, who shared a closer on-foot look at the new sneakers and revealed that J Balvin hand-delivered his own personal pair ahead of the DJ’s We the Best Foundation Golf Classic and 50th birthday celebration.

“My brother J Balvin just flew in from Colombia…he flew all the way down and he gave me the shoes off his feet. Nobody has these, not even J Balvin,” DJ Khaled says in the clip.
J Balvin chimed in on the post’s comments section, confirming DJ Khaled’s claims. “Facts u the only one who has them,” J Balvin wrote.
The shoes feature a black leather base that’s accented with different colors on each panel including brown, infrared and yellow as well as pastel shades of pink, green and blue. Metallic eyelets give the collaboration an elevated feel, while J Balvin’s smiley face logo appears on the right heel.
Despite the abundance of early looks, the release details for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 collaboration have not been confirmed, but readers can expect the pair to be released in 2026 with availability from J Balvin’s e-commerce store and Nike’s Snkrs app.
