Ready or Not 2 trailer: Samara Weaving returns to gore-splattered, horror-comedy

The trailer of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come released on November 28, 2025. The upcoming American comedy-horror follows up Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s kill-the-rich, “Most Dangerous Game” – inspired satire featuring Samara Weaving as a new bride being hunted by her in-laws at their family’s posh estate.

Joining Samara Weaving, the cast features Kathryn Newton and notable horror figures Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood. The ensemble is further bolstered by Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt), Nstor Carbonell (The Dark Knight), Kevin Durand (who worked with the Radio Silence team on Abigail), and David Cronenberg.

Searchlight Pictures provides the official summary: “Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side.” Grace is now facing a high-stakes challenge: “Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world.” Four competing families are pursuing her for this throne, and “whoever wins rules it all.”

The fact that Grace (Weaving) survived the assaults in the last film was established by the original’s memorable final scene: she was seen bloody and messy on the steps of the mansion, calmly smoking a cigarette while the building burned around her. In the new trailer, she is again being hunted alongside her sister, with Wood and Gellar leading the rival family. Here I Come looks set to be another excessively violent, gore-splattered, over-the-top experience from the Radio Silence team.

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is written by Guy Busick and R Christopher Murray, and produced by Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, and Bradley J Fischer.

The film is co-directed by Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett. The release date is yet to be announced.
