When Sydney Sweeney commits to a color, she really commits.
On Monday night in SoHo, the “Euphoria” star was back in a red look while out promoting her upcoming film, “The Housemaid,” this time wearing Magda Butrym’s suede knee-high boots from the brand’s fall 2025 collection. The Italian-made boots were crafted in a deep red suede featuring a pointed toe, an inner side zip and an 8.5-centimeter heel.

The rest of her outfit followed the same fiery palette. She wore Patou’s cropped wool-blend tweed jacket — a style with a sculpted collar and longer sleeves — along with the matching belted miniskirt from the label’s fall 2025 collection. She finished the look with a glossy red top-handle bag and oversized black sunglasses, which helped break up the monochrome mix. The outfit was styled by Molly Dickson.

Butrym’s fall 2025 collection debuted earlier this year in Paris and reflected a shift toward sturdier construction and Slavic craft references for the Polish designer. As WWD’s Tianwei Zhang noted, the designer “offered her most masculine and personal collection to date,” integrating faux fur, shearling, leather and handwoven textiles into the lineup. The red suede boots appeared alongside that mix, positioned as a refined everyday style within the season’s more utilitarian direction.
Sweeney’s Monday appearance also extends a week of coordinated footwear choices in New York. On the same day, she wore Paris Texas’ Rouge Noir Lidia slingbacks for her “The Tonight Show” appearance. Last month, during the early part of her press schedule, she moved between patent over-the-knee boots, brown suede booties and black slingback pumps for various stops across the city. The SoHo outing brought another structured pair into that lineup — and kept her monochrome streak firmly in place.

“The Housemaid,” which Sweeney is currently promoting in New York, follows Millie, a young woman who takes a live-in housemaid job for a wealthy couple and begins uncovering unsettling details about their life. The film is directed by Paul Feig and is set to hit theaters on Dec. 19.
