    It looks like the Hindi cinema is all set to witness one of the biggest biopics of recent times. Recently, Siddhant Chaturvedi, who is known for his role in films like Gully Boy and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, dropped the official first look of his upcoming film, V. Shantaram. And as the name suggests, the film is a biopic of the legendary filmmaker.

    On December 1, 2025, Bollywood actor, Siddhant Chaturvedi took to his Instagram handle to share the first look of his upcoming film, V. Shantaram. As revealed in the poster, the film is going to be a biopic of the legendary filmmaker and the Gehraiyaan actor will be essaying the role of ‘V. Shantaram’.

    In the recently released poster, Siddhant is seen in a classic vintage look, with a Nehru cap and period outfit. He is standing beside an old-school film camera. The intense look on his face aims to capture the bold personality, vision and confidence of filmmaker, V. Shantaram. Apart from this, the background of the first look takes viewers back to 1920s-1950s, where V. Shantaram ruled Indian cinema.

    It is worth mentioning that all the information regarding the cast of the film and its narrative has been kept under wraps. But a report by Pinkvilla suggested Siddhant Chaturvedi’s starrer film will also star Fardeen Khan in a supporting role. Apart from this, the film is directed by Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande and produced by Rahul Kiran Shantaram, Subhash Kale and Sarita Ashwin Varde.

    During a conversation, actor, Siddhant Chaturvedi had opened up about portraying the role of legendary filmmaker, V. Shantaram. He shared that it is the ‘greatest honour of his life’. According to Times Now, Siddhant shared:

    “Portraying V. Shantaram ji is one of the greatest honours of my life. The more I read about his journey, the more humbled I felt. He wasn’t just a pioneer of Indian and global cinema, he was a visionary who kept pushing forward no matter the obstacles. Stepping into his world has been my most transformative experience as an actor. His life moved me deeply and reminded me of the power of perseverance. It’s a lesson I hope to hold close, both in my work and in every moment of my life.”
