Congress general secretary KC Venugopal on Friday called both Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, urging them to resolve their differences before coming to Delhi, sources told India Today TV.
Venugopal reportedly reminded the leaders that exchanging jibes on social media “is not Congress culture” and stressed the importance of presenting a united front.
Both leaders have been instructed to sit across the table, discuss their disagreements, and work out a solution. “The final decision rests with the Congress high command. Leave the decision to us. Don’t fight,” Venugopal reportedly told them.
