James Harden Finally Debuted His New Signature Sneaker, the Adidas Harden Vol. 10

Adidas’ basketball division is continuing to ride the momentum it established in late 2023 and throughout 2024 with Anthony Edwards’ debut signature sneaker. The latest pair to build off of this energy is NBA veteran James Harden’s 10th signature shoe, the Adidas Harden Vol. 10. After numerous early leaks and official teasers from the brand itself, the Harden Vol. 10 made its long-awaited on-court debut Tuesday as the NBA’s two Los Angeles teams went head-to-head.

With LeBron James back in action and Luka Dončić putting on a scoring clinic, the Lakers held off their fellow L.A. rivals in a 135-118 win. Despite the loss, Harden and the Clippers went out in style, with the 11-time NBA All-Star and several of his teammates wearing the upcoming Harden Vol. 10.

The futuristic model features a concentric oval design on its TPU shell upper, a departure from the linear cut-outs seen on the previous Harden Vol. 9. Based on that pair, it’s plausible that the new Harden model will feature a combination of Boost and Lightstrike cushioning, although the specific tech details have not been confirmed.

Despite belonging to one of the NBA’s top players, Harden’s Adidas line has been long maligned by fans for what were perceived to be generic, uninspired designs. Since its 2016 debut, the line failed to make much of an impact off the court and was infrequently worn in action by other NBA players. Yet, things began to turn a corner with the Harden Vol. 8 model, and the Harden Vol. 9 had an even warmer reception. While still early in its lifecycle, it looks like the Harden Vol. 10 will continue this upward motion.

The Adidas Harden Vol. 10’s retail arrival is expected soon. It’s confirmed to be released in December, although there’s some discrepancy with specific reported dates. The latest updates point to the model launching on Dec. 15 for a retail price of $150. The style code for the “Imma Be a Star” colorway pictured here is JQ9453.
