Meghan King sent a special birthday shoutout to her daughter, Aspen, in honor of her 9th birthday after the former Bravo star lost custody of her kids to ex Jim Edmonds.
“My favorite female to ever walk the planet,” King wrote on her Instagram Stories Monday. “The brightest light, my greatest joy.”
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum added, “A spectacular gift from God was born 9 years ago today. When I learned what love is. I love you Aspen King Edmonds. I love you to infinity. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”
King’s birthday tribute came a day after she shared a cryptic post on Instagram about supporting “human rights” amid her and Edmonds’ custody battle.
“Big fan of human rights,” reads an image she shared Sunday, tagging the location as Kirkwood, Miss.
Last week, Page Six reported that the former reality star, 41, temporarily lost custody of her three kids — daughter Aspen and her twin sons, Hart and Hayes, 7 — to her second ex-husband, Edmonds.
A source told Page Six that King is allowed to have supervised visits with Hayes, Hart and Aspen twice a week.
The investigation was prompted because King allegedly gave one of their twins unprescribed medication — and asked the school nurse to do the same.
A source exclusively told Page Six that King allegedly gave her son Hayes Ritalin multiple times, even though he has not been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Child Protective Services (CPS) got involved after the mom of three asked the school nurse to also administer the meds.
We’re told Jim, 55, and his wife, Kortnie Edmonds, who reside in Tennessee, immediately flew to Missouri after getting the call from CPS.
We’re also told that a temporary restraining order has been granted and that a more permanent solution will be determined at a court hearing scheduled for Dec. 9.
King and the former MLB player tied the knot in October 2014.
Five years later, the former Bravolebrity filed for divorce from Jim following a cheating scandal. Their split was finalized in May 2021.
