Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann, is not a fan of his facial hair transformation.
The 17-year-old demanded her dad “stay over there” when he walked into the kitchen to debut his shaved face, as documented in a YouTube video Thursday.
After doing multiple double-takes and backing away Jelly Roll, the teenager covered her eyes and began to shake — with both tears and laughter.
“Oh, my God, I’m gonna cry,” she said. “I don’t like this. You look like a turtle!”
As she continued to simultaneously giggle and wipe away tears, Bailee Ann doubled down and said, “Oh, I don’t like this.”
She noted, “I don’t know if I’m laughing or if this is making me sad.”
Upon taking a deep breath and putting her hands on her hips, Bailee Ann attempted to look at her father again — before bursting into laughter and turning away again.
Jelly Roll, who welcomed the now-teen in a previous romance, worried that he would resemble a Ninja Turtle before removing his beard.
“The last time my face was shaved, I was fresh out of jail,” the “Need a Favor” hitmaker explained to his subscribers. “I got a feeling I’m going to look like a Ninja Turtle, but I’m going to shave my f–king face and go surprise my family.”
The decision came after Jelly Roll’s headline-making weight loss of more than 200 pounds.
“I don’t know what I look like,” he told viewers. “I’ve had a beard to try to cover up my double chin, which I still am clearly going to have.
“One of the reasons I even started growing a beard was cause I was so obese,” the Grammy nominee — born Jason Bradley Deford — continued elsewhere in the upload. “It was just easier to cover up what was happening here.”
As for his thoughts on the final result, Jelly Roll quipped, “I thought my chin went at least a half inch longer than it actually did, but f—k, I didn’t know. It was a failed science experiment.”
While the songwriter had told wife Bunnie XO about his shaving plans, the “Dumb Blonde” podcast host’s reaction was not included in the footage.
She did previously tell her Instagram followers, however, that she wanted to “see that jawline.”
Jelly Roll’s followers praised his transformation in the comments section, with one gushing, “You look amazing man. Congrats. You deserve everything you have worked so hard for.”
The rapper has been candid about his weight loss journey over the years, publicly celebrating the first 100 pounds he shed during an October 2024 concert.
