Cynthia Erivo Stays Loyal to Christian Louboutin’s Sleek High Heels to Promote ‘Wicked: For Good’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

Cynthia Erivo likes what she likes. The actress has been all over the world promoting “Wicked: For Good” and has taken a pair of Christian Louboutin heels along with her for the ride. Erivo, who is usually a fan of platform shoes, took a break from lofty heels for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, reaching for her go-to Hot Chick pumps.

While the heels may not be a towering platform, the Hot Chick is not the average pump. The Hot Chick has become a signature stiletto for the luxury footwear brand that features a deep décolleté that elongates the legs, a sharp pointed toe, and a steep 100mm heel. The pumps feature a narrow pitch between the heels and the soles, creating an ultra pronounced arch.

While at first glance the shoes appear to be the footwear designer’s So Kate or the Pigalle Follies, the Hot Chick stands out thanks to the hand-stitched scalloped and a distinctive V-shaped notch on the side of the ankle that reveal glimpses of the side of the foot.

Erivo opted for a glossy patent leather pair in all black, aside from the Louboutin signature bright red sole. The shoes are available in patent leather beige and white for $945 on the French luxury footwear designer’s website.

Erivo paired the heels with a blazer and skirt from the Schiaparelli spring 2026 collection. The black coat is fitted and features a double-breasted design with two visible buttons and prominent, rounded, sculptural shoulders. She paired the jacket with a long, black skirt which stretches right past her knees.

During the “Wicked” sequel’s press tour, Erivo has opted for the Hot Chick pumps on numerous occasions to go along with her all-black ensembles in honor of her character Elphaba. She wore them earlier this week at GQ’s Man of the Year celebration in London with a Bottega Veneta fur coat.

She has also mixed in some platform designs by Christian Louboutin, including the Cassia satin pumps, the Dolly leather pumps, the Rosalie alta sandals, and Christian Louboutin x Matieres Fecales So Hannah boots.
