The trailer of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy thriller Dhurandhar was unveiled on November 18, 2025, at the NMACC in Mumbai, drawing strong reactions from fans who are now counting down to the film’s release on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film marks another ambitious project from the filmmaker, who surprised many at the event by spotlighting the person behind the trailer’s sharp edit—his 22-year-old brother-in-law, Ojas Gautam.

Ojas, who is the younger brother of actress Yami Gautam, received unexpected recognition when Dhar publicly introduced him to the media. The director revealed that Ojas had worked tirelessly in the final stretch of the trailer’s preparation. “It’s been almost 72–76 hours that this boy hasn’t slept. He was cutting this trailer till 4 am and then got it all done,” Dhar said, acknowledging the effort that went into shaping the final cut.
The appreciation didn’t stop there. Arjun Rampal, one of the film’s cast members, walked over during the event to hug Ojas, a gesture that added to the warmth surrounding the young editor’s contribution. Dhar went on to share how Ojas has been closely involved in his projects since 2020–21. “He is very close to me. He was there with me when we were trying to make Ashwatthama. One of the reasons I was able to make this film is because of his persistence. He never stopped believing in me,” the filmmaker said.
The trailer, originally slated for release on November 12, was delayed due to concerns over Dharmendra’s health and the blasts in Delhi. Despite the postponement, the final cut has drawn plenty of attention online. Many viewers praised Ojas’s work, calling the trailer “outstanding” and “brilliantly cut.” Others, however, questioned the long working hours cited at the event, with a few social media users raising concerns about the normalization of such schedules.
Dhurandhar brings together a notable ensemble: Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
