Vivica A. Fox embraced an autumnal red hue in New York City on Monday, which extended down to her statement-making René Caovilla sandals.

This footwear look from René Caovilla, crafted with a satin upper and presented in a deep red color, leans heavily into romantic design qualities. Known as the Floraine style, the sandal’s slender straps at the foot and the brand’s signature sinuous ankle strap resembling a snake are embellished with crystal strass and adorned with floral appliqués, which also sparkle with crystals. The Made-in-Italy style is lifted by a 4.2-inch stiletto heel.

Fox paired the René Caovilla shoes with a body-con midi dress featuring long sleeves and a high neck; it was crafted in a satiny burgundy and featured a subtle crystal decoration. No stranger to fashion, the actress introduced a line of day-into-evening looks in partnership with HSN earlier this year.

While some René Caovilla styles take a more minimalist approach, others tap into the allure of adornment like the pair showcased by Fox. Keke Palmer, for example, wore a sparkling gold sandal style embellished with stars when she went on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in June.
The luxury brand returned as the shoe partner for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year, which took place in October. While well known for sinuous sandals, the brand offers a range of other styles as well; Sarah Jessica Parker, for instance, recently donned a pair of pointed-toe pumps for a reception at Clarence House in London which she attended alongside fellow judges of the Booker Prize and shortlisted authors. It was a plum-hued satin pair with crystal trim.
