Shehnaaz Gill, who is currently enjoying the success of her maiden production Ikk Kudi, has opened up about her long journey in the industry while sharing heartfelt advice for her younger self and the woman she hopes to become ten years from now.

Reflecting on her early days and the challenges she faced, Shehnaaz told IANS that if she could speak to the version of herself from a decade ago, she would only offer words of appreciation and encouragement. “Well done, Shehnaaz Gill. I am proud of you. You are doing so well in life. What I wanted to achieve in life, you are doing that. God bless you always. Keep on growing.”
While she acknowledges her growth, Shehnaaz remains deeply aware of the work that still lies ahead. She emphasised that she does not want her achievements to make her complacent. “Shehnaaz, don’t think that you become something. You still have to do so much hard work in your life. Keep going. Keep working hard. Never stop.”
Drawing from personal experiences, the actress added a candid warning to her future self, highlighting the need to stay grounded and alert. “Don’t get influenced by anyone. Be smart. People can be bad. They will try to suppress you. They will try to spoil your mind.”
Speaking about her film Ikk Kudi, Shehnaaz shared that it follows the story of a woman from a family of broken hearts who begins doubting her arranged marriage match and sets out to uncover her fiancé’s hidden past.
Shehnaaz rose to fame after her appearance on Bigg Boss 13. She began her career in 2015 with the music video ‘Shiv Di Kitaab’ and debuted in Punjabi cinema with Sat Shri Akaal England in 2017. Her filmography includes Kala Shah Kala, Daaka, Honsla Rakh, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Thank You for Coming. She has also appeared in various music videos and has Sab First Class in the pipeline.
