Amy Schumer is in the news yet again — and this time it’s because of speculation surrounding her marriage to Chris Fischer, who she wed in 2018 and shares one child with.
Now, obviously, when someone says “I’m still married” in public, the question that comes to one’s mind is, “Why are you saying this, though?” Specifically, you have to wonder if there’s something going on behind the scenes that would prompt this person to say anything at all, especially if — in Amy’s case — there’s been no visible speculation about the state of their marriage to begin with.
Well, People has a report on the status of their marriage, and it indeed does sound like something is going on — although how serious it is remains to be seen.
“They’re privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” a source exclusively tells PEOPLE on Thursday, Nov. 13. “They are both committed to the relationship.”
