Season 3 of The Family Man takes the story eastward, introducing new challenges and a fresh setting that deepens the show’s trademark realism. Speaking about the long-anticipated arc, Krishna DK shared, “It’s been building up for a while, and we’ve put our hearts into it. We had already announced at the end of season two that the North-East is where we want to go with the next season. So, we were clear about that. The location, the people, and the culture are all part of the DNA of the show, whichever season you pick. Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and all these places in season three — you need that energy from the place.”
This shift in geography reflects the series’ continued effort to ground national-level threats in authentic Indian backdrops. The new terrain adds a layer of unpredictability and cultural richness to Srikant’s journey.
What truly raises anticipation this season, however, is the intense face-off between two powerhouse performers — Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat. Confirming the central conflict, Raj revealed, “Manoj and Jaideep are coming together — two stalwarts of Indian cinema. Really top actors.”
Jaideep’s character, Rukma, serves as a formidable antagonist — a dark mirror to Srikant Tiwari. Raj explained, “Rukma became the main character, the main antagonist, where he is almost the opposite of Srikant; he also has a girlfriend and a kid — a sort of ‘non-family’ family.” This complex rivalry is set to push Srikant beyond his limits, both as an agent and as a family man.
With Raj & DK’s signature mix of action, emotion, and grounded humour, The Family Man Season 3 promises to be more than just another thrilling installment. It’s a cultural moment that blends adrenaline with heart. Featuring returning favourites like Sharib Hashmi (JK) and Priyamani (Suchitra), along with the powerful new dynamic between Srikant and Rukma, the new season is shaping up to be one of the most compelling yet.
