Model Sora Choi gravitates toward products that give her a natural-looking, second-skin glow. That is, until the last 10 seconds of her Beauty Secrets routine. At that point, the Korea’s Next Top Model alum whips out the iconic lipstick she almost forgot to apply today, and it’s one that makes it tough to see her as the “shy person” she claims to be at the top of her confessions.
But before she gets into lipstick, the South Korean native has to tend to a few other steps—starting with skin care. She freshens up with Saborino’s Minty Fresh Morning Mask, then gets primed with Clarins’s Fix’ Make-Up setting spray.
Next, Choi dabs some creamy color onto her cheeks with Chanel’s lip and cheek balm. She has the multitasking product in two hues; today, she chooses the subtler shade to get a barely there flush.
Things veer slightly more toward the dramatic when the 33-year-old swipes on the volumizing DiorShow mascara. But it’s only after spritzing her signature oud perfume that Choi remembers her bold, final flourish.
“I almost forgot! This is my favorite red lip color,” she says, holding up MAC’s Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo. “[It’s] sexy, pretty, chic—everything.” As she applies the classic 1990s shade, Choi instantly takes her look from low-key to show-stopping. And with that, she blows a bold-red kiss for her parting shot.
