PRAYAGRAJ: Allahabad HC on Monday granted interim protection from arrest to celebrity hairstylist Jawed Habib and his son Anosh Habib in an alleged multi-crore investment fraud, and directed authorities against taking any coercive action against them until police conclude the investigation and file a chargesheet. A bench of Justices Siddhartha Varma and Achal Sachdeva disposed of petitions filed by the father-son duo challenging 32 FIRs lodged by different “investors” against them in UP’s Sambhal . They had also sought a restraint on their arrest as an interim measure.
