Reflecting on the importance of empathy in today’s fast-paced world, he said, “We are all going to go. So the least you can do for your people around, for your elders especially, for your younger ones, is to be kind. There are so many other people who are going through a lot of things in life which you are not aware of. Only if you were kind enough to open up your parts and theirs would you realise the commonality between you. So be kind to each other.”
Vikrant’s words served as a reminder that compassion never loses its relevance, especially in an era marked by division and uncertainty. His talk encouraged listeners to lead with empathy, bridging gaps through understanding and kindness.
The sixth edition of TEDxYouth@PPSIJC was themed “ShuHaRi” — a Japanese philosophy that symbolizes the three stages of mastery: following tradition (Shu), breaking from it (Ha), and transcending it (Ri). In line with this philosophy, Vikrant’s address reflected his personal and artistic evolution, urging young minds to grow through awareness and empathy.
During his session, Vikrant also opened up about his life lessons, challenges, and the importance of maintaining self-awareness and compassion despite adversity. His honest reflections inspired attendees to live with purpose and integrity.
On the work front, Vikrant is set to portray spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the upcoming international thriller White, which began filming in August 2025. He was last seen in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan, a romantic drama directed by Santosh Singh, co-starring Shanaya Kapoor.
In 2024, Vikrant delivered an impressive run of four critically acclaimed films Blackout, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Sector 36, and The Sabarmati Report further cementing his reputation as one of the most versatile and thoughtful actors in Indian cinema today.
